WinForms: Application.ThreadException (UI thread) + Application.SetUnhandledExceptionMode(UnhandledExceptionMode.CatchException) + AppDomain.UnhandledException.
WPF: Application.DispatcherUnhandledException (set e.Handled = true after logging if safe).
Console/worker: try/catch in Main around the host run, log fatal, return a non-zero exit code.
