2. Connection managers

Connection managers define how to connect; tasks and components reference them.
- OLE DB (SQL Server via Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server — MSOLEDBSQL), ADO.NET, ODBC
- Flat File (CSV, fixed width), Excel, Multiple Flat Files, Raw File
- FTP, HTTP, SMTP, File, Cache (for lookups), Azure Storage / Data Lake (Azure Feature Pack)
Project-level connection managers are shared by all packages in the project. Make connection strings configurable with parameters + expressions so the same package runs in dev/test/prod.
