7. Consulting firms and GCCs

- Big Four / consulting (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Accenture consulting): technical breadth plus client communication; scenario questions ("The client is unhappy with delivery — what do you do?"), estimation, presenting solutions; sometimes case-style discussions. Domain knowledge (banking, insurance, tax, audit, ERP) is valued.
- GCCs (Global Capability Centres of banks, retailers, insurers, manufacturers in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and elsewhere): rounds similar to product companies but often more practical — strong C#/.NET/SQL, design, cloud, code quality and stakeholder management with global teams; behavioural rounds focused on ownership and collaboration across time zones.
