7. Logistics: notice period, relocation, shifts, joining date

- Notice period: state it exactly (e.g. 60 days) and whether buyout or early release is possible. Don't promise what you can't deliver.
- Relocation: be clear about willingness and timing; ask about relocation support.
- Shifts / on-call / travel: answer honestly; ask how often.
- Bond / service agreement: read the terms before accepting.
- Documents: relieving letters, payslips, Form 16 (India), degree certificates — keep them ready for background verification.
- Work permits: e.g. for Taiwan, foreign professionals need a work permit (or a Taiwan Employment Gold Card) — know your status and timeline.
